Bennecker was a supervisor for the State Department of Social and Health Services. She was a member of St. Lukes Memorial Episcopal Church and Amity Chapter of the Order of Eastern Star. Besides her husband, she is survived by a son, Timothy L. of Tacoma.

Tuell Funeral Home is in charge. Darlene Mears Darlene A. Mears, 21, of 13411 S. C. Tacoma, died Thursday.

Born in Tacoma, Mrs. Mears lived in this area all her life. She was a graduate of Washington High School and a member of the Eastside Christian Church. Survivors include her parents, Mr. and Mrs.

Earl Lucille Mrs. Karl H. (Lucille Kaiser, 75, a former Tacoma resident, died Wednesday in Brinnon. She was born in Ohio came to Tacoma in 1948. She moved to Brinnon 10 years ago.

Mrs. Kaiser was a retired music teacher for the Tacoma and Fife W. Mears of Tacoma; three brothers, Donald E. of Hilo, Hawaii, Douglas C. of Artesia, and Dennis of Kent; two sisters, Dorene E.

of Tacoma, and Mrs. Michael (Denise) Blangy Seattle; and her grandmother, Mrs. Ruth Mears of Artesia, Calif. Dryer Mortuary is in charge. Kaiser school districts and was a church organist.

She was a member of the Tacoma Weavers Guild and Central Lutheran Church. Besides her husband, she is survived by a son, Kenneth H. of Seattle. Mountain View Funeral Home is in charge. Donna LaPlante Donna McNiven LaPlante, 59, of 917 E.

99th Tacoma, died Wednesday. Born on the Crow Indian Reservation in Montana, she had resided in this area since 1922. Survivors include three sons, Ernest. Dennis and Grace Mrs. Grace Hughes Linggi, 74, of 13115 E.

died Wednesday. She was born in Oklahoma and had lived in Tacoma for the past 50 years. Mrs. Linggi was a restaurant cook. She was a member of the Catholic Church.

Cheryl Dial of Anthony, N.M., and Peggy Martin of Tacoma; one brother, Kenneth Brown of Torona, one sister, Barbara Robertson of Albuquerque, N.M.; and four grandchildren. Dryer Mortuary is in charge. Zelpha Parker Mrs. Zelpha M. Parker, 54, of Rt.

1, Box 1444, died Tuesday. She was born in Lind and had lived virtually all of her life in the Tacoma area. She was a member of the Catholic Church. She was a licensed practical nurse and had been active in community affairs. She is survived by her husband, Byron, a daughter, Tina M.

Gray of Spanaway; two sisters, Rose Marie Evans of Puyallup and Barbara Stallone of Tacoma, and a grandchild. Piper Funeral Home is in charge. Vincent Dillon Vincent C. Dillon, 84, of 6006 S. Prospect died Wednesday.

He was born in Moline, Kan. and came to Tacoma in 1907. Mr. Dillon was an Army veteran of World War I and a member of the Disabled American Veterans, Chapter 1. Juliet Mrs.

D. L. (Juliet Davis. 86, of 1323 Bridgeview Drive, died yesterday. She was born in Burns, and had lived in the Tacoma area since 1974.

She was a member of the Rebekah Lodge in Burns. James W. Campbell, 44, of 1726 Market died Monday. He was born in Plantersville, and moved to Tacoma seven years ago. Mr.

Campbell was a member of the African Methodist Episcopal Church. Surviving are his parents, Mr. and Mrs. John Campbell Sr. Plantersville, five sisters, Mrs.

Louise Horne and Miss Margie Campbell, both of Tacoma, Mrs. Ola Ward and Miss Betty Campbell, both of Sparks, and Mrs. Mary Nunn of Birmingham, and two brothers, John Campbell Jr. of Plantersville, and Clifford Campbell of Reno, Nev. House of Scott Mortuary is in charge.

Salvadoran priest slain SAN SALVADOR, El Salvador (AP) A Roman Catholic priest died in a hail of machinegun fire in a small town nine miles east of San Salvador right-wingers are suspected, Archbishop Oscar Arnulfo Romero said. The Okanogan County sheriff's office said Lawrence Fenstermaker and his wife, Mavis, were fishing from a small boat at the west end of the lake. Fenstermaker apparently was leaning out to net a fish when he lost his balance and fell into the water, sheriff's deputies said. His fall upset the boat, throwing his wife the water. A nearby fisherman pulled the couple from the water but then could not revive Fenstermaker, authorities said. He is survived by his wife, Margaret; two sons, Jack Menlo Park, and William of Federal Way; a daughter, Mrs.
